Burretiokentia hapala


A tall, slender palm from New Caledonia with a bright green, ringed trunk, and a prominent crownshaft that holds a crown of glossy green leaves. It is immediately recognizable by its curious, thickly and densely furry flowers stalks. One of the easier New Caledonia palms to grow, B. hapala will do well in the frost free warm temperate/subtropical and tropical garden.
