Australian Sugar Palm

A rather large, clustering species from rainforests in northeastern Australia with trunks clothed in fibrous leaf sheaths and spreading crowns of dark green leaves with silvery undersides. A vigorous palm that will adapt easily to tropical as well as warm temperate areas but is still rarely seen in cultivation.
